Jaspal is a Toronto-based filmmaker with a strong background in visual arts. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Design in 1993, he immigrated to Canada in 1997 to pursue his passion for storytelling. At the Academy of Design in Toronto, he excelled in Fundamentals of Design, earning an award of excellence.
As a versatile freelancer, Jaspal has worked on documentaries, TV commercials, and short films, honing his storytelling abilities. He runs his own production company, Creative Salt Films & Productions Limited, which has produced compelling documentaries, music videos, and short films. In 2022, he worked on projects like “Remi,” “The Badge,” and “Lullaby,” as well as several music videos.
Currently, Jaspal is engaged in multiple projects as both a Director of Photography and a producer, and he is involved in developing two feature films and a few documentaries. His dedication and artistic vision drive him to bring captivating stories to life on the silver screen.
